Ploqo Privacy Policy

What the Ploqo Shopify app reads, what it stores, and when it is deleted. Last updated 28 September 2026.

1. Introduction

Ploqo ("we", "our", or "us") is a Shopify app made by the team behind PinFlow. This policy explains what information Ploqo accesses and stores when a merchant installs it, and how that information is used.

2. Information We Access

  • Store information: your shop's myshopify domain and store email address, and the access token Shopify issues when you install the app.
  • Products and media: product titles, options, variants and product photos, so you can choose which photos belong to each variant and which photo is the cover.
  • Themes: read-only access to your theme templates, to check whether the Ploqo theme blocks are added.

Ploqo does not access customer or order data. It never sees your shoppers' names, emails, addresses or payment details.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

The photo choices you make in Ploqo (each variant's photos and the cover photo) are saved in your own Shopify store, as product metafields and metaobjects. They stay in your store and under your control.

On our own servers we keep only what the app needs to run: your shop domain, the Shopify access session, your app settings, and a log of changes Ploqo made to your products so you can review them.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To show and save each variant's photos and cover.
  • To suggest which photo belongs to which variant. For this, product photo links and option names are sent to an AI provider (OpenRouter). No customer data is sent.
  • To find and fix errors in the app.
  • To contact you about support.

We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for advertising.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

When you uninstall Ploqo, we delete your data from our servers. The photo choices saved in your Shopify store stay in your store's metafields and metaobjects until you remove them.
