Most Wishlisted Products and Each Customer's Saved List

See which products your logged-in customers save most, and open any customer in your Shopify admin to see what they saved.

Two views in your admin

Ploqo Wishlist gives you two ways to see what shoppers save:

  • Most wishlisted, a page in the app that ranks your products by how many customers saved them.
  • The Wishlist card on a customer's page in your Shopify admin, which lists what that one customer saved.

Both show only logged-in customers' lists. A guest's list stays in their own browser, so the app never sees it. Guest wishlists and logged-in customer lists explains the difference.

Most wishlisted

Open the app and click Most wishlisted under Ploqo Wishlist in the left menu of your admin. Each row is a product, with the number of customers who have it on their list in the Saves column. The most-saved product is at the top.

Click a product's name to open it in your admin.

A few ways stores use the list:

  • Restock what people want. A sold-out product with a lot of saves is demand waiting for stock.
  • Pick what to feature. Put the most-saved products in a featured collection on your home page.
  • Plan a sale. Products that many customers save but few buy may be priced just above what shoppers want to pay.

The count goes down when a customer removes a product from their list, so it always shows how many lists hold the product now, not how many times it was ever saved.

Until a logged-in customer saves something, the page says No saved products yet. Guests' saves never show here, even on a busy store.

Add the Wishlist card to customer pages

The Wishlist card shows on a customer's page in your admin. Shopify doesn't show an app's card until you add it, so you add it once, and it then shows on every customer.

Go to Customers and open any customer. Under the customer's details, find the Blocks area and click + Block.

Pick Wishlist from the list. The card appears with a Preview badge and two buttons. Click Pin to page for all staff: without it, the card is gone the next time the page loads. Pinned, it shows on every customer's page, for you and your staff.

What the card shows

The card names up to eight of the products this customer saved. Each product links to its page in your admin. A product that is a draft, archived or not on your online store shows its status next to its name, so you know why the customer can't see it on their wishlist page.

When the customer saved more than eight products, the card ends with See all … saved products. It opens the app's Saved products page for that customer, with every product on their list.

Customer not found

If the Saved products page opens for a customer that no longer exists in your store, for example one you deleted, it says Customer not found and links to your customer list.

When a customer asks for their data

Because the list is stored on the customer's record in Shopify, the Wishlist card is where you find it when a customer asks what you hold about them. When you erase a customer in Shopify, the app deletes its own count rows for that customer too. The privacy policy has the details.
