How Poshmark Fees Work in the US

Poshmark uses a two-tier commission, and the split point is $15:

• Under $15: a flat $2.95 fee, no matter the exact price.
• $15 or more: 20% of the listing price.

So a $14.99 sale costs $2.95, and a $15.00 sale costs $3.00. Poshmark's fee already includes payment processing, and buyers pay shipping separately, so shipping does not come out of your earnings. That makes Poshmark's math unusually clean: your fee is either a flat $2.95 or a straight 20%.

The $15 Threshold, Explained

The one quirk worth understanding is the jump right at $15. Just below it, at $14.99, you pay the flat $2.95. At exactly $15.00 the 20% rate kicks in and the fee becomes $3.00. From there the fee grows with the price: $5 on a $25 item, $10 on a $50 item, $20 on a $100 item. The flat-fee tier is a genuinely good deal on cheap items, and the calculator applies the threshold exactly so you always see the right number.

A Worked Example

• $12 item (under $15): flat fee $2.95, you keep $9.05
• $50 item (over $15): 20% fee $10.00, you keep $40.00
• $100 item: 20% fee $20.00, you keep $80.00

Fees the Calculator Does Not Include

The tool models Poshmark's core selling fee, which already covers payment processing. It does not add optional costs such as Posh Shows features or promoted-listing spend, and it does not subtract buyer-paid shipping, since that is not part of your earnings. If you spend on promotion, add it separately.

Switch to the Net to price tab, type the earnings you want to keep, and the calculator solves for the listing price that leaves you exactly that after Poshmark's fee. Poshmark vs Depop vs Mercari
